Bartender/Server (Aurora)

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. Responsibilities - Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS - Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while maintaining high service standards - Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties - Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times - Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations - Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously with excellent time management skills - Provide friendly, attentive customer service to enhance guest experience - Restock supplies as needed and assist with opening or closing duties as assigned - Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons Requirements - Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred - Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus - Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests - Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately - Understanding of food safety and proper food handling procedures - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours - Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism and composure - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed - A friendly personality with strong communication skills and teamwork orientation Join our team if you are passionate about hospitality, enjoy working with people, and want to grow your career in the food industry!
