About Arthur's Snackette Arthur's Snackette is a sourdough bagel shop on St. Clair West, a Toronto outpost of Montreal's celebrated Arthur's Nosh Bar. We opened in April 2026 and we're hiring a Senior Baker to join our team as we grow, and own dough production alongside ownership. The Role This is a hands-on production role. You'll be responsible for the full dough cycle: starter management, mixing, bulk fermentation, dividing, shaping, boiling, and baking. You'll also lead production of our sweets program (cookies, babka, and other baked goods that round out the menu). You'll work directly with ownership on production planning and quality. What you'll do Manage starter health day to day Mix, ferment, divide, and shape dough on a multi-day schedule Boil and bake to spec, holding consistency across every batch Hold the line on hydration, fermentation timing, and finished bagel quality Produce our sweets program: cookies, babka, and other baked goods to spec Keep the bake space clean, organized, and running on time You're a fit if you have Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with sourdough in a production setting (non-negotiable; please don't apply without it) A real feel for dough.
