Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Duties - Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. - Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals under the supervision of the chef or kitchen manager. - Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and ensuring timely delivery of prepared items. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation procedures. - Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations. - Assist with basic meal preparation during busy service times to support the culinary team. - Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and kitchen safety. Experience - Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. - Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and basic cooking techniques is advantageous. - Experience with food preparation, meal assembly, or dishwashing roles demonstrates familiarity with kitchen operations. - A strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation procedures is desirable.
