Line Cook (Aurora)

Looking for an experienced Line Cook. Aurora. Permanent part time position. Able to cook/execute Steak, Burger, Fryer and Salads. Three days: Friday: 3-11 pm Saturday : 3 - 11pm Sunday: 11- 7 pm Yonge and Wellington $21 - 24 per hour Plus Weekly Tip Out Walking distance from Aurora Go Station. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards - Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients - Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations - Monitor food quality during service to ensure consistency and presentation standards are met - Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy hours - Follow serving protocols to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient service - Adhere to all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and kitchen operations Qualifications - Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred - Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly - Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures - Strong understanding of the food industry and restaurant operations - Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality - Positive communication skills and ability to work well within a team - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed - Join our team as a Line Cook if you are passionate about creating delicious dishes, maintaining high standards of food safety, and providing excellent service in a dynamic restaurant environment.
