Breakfast Cook (Aurora)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and have a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining food safety standards and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen setting. Responsibilities - Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. - Ensure all food is prepared with attention to quality, presentation, and portion control. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. - Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times. - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. - Assist in inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies. - Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices. - Participate in daily prep work to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly during service hours. Experience - Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Must know high traffic breakfast. - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. - Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and meal preparation methods. - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. - A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to grow within the food industry.
