Server/Bartender (Aurora)

Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced workplace. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipes or customer preferences while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Responsibilities - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. - Operate the POS system efficiently to process orders and handle cash transactions accurately. - Engage with customers, providing friendly and attentive service while managing their drink orders. - Monitor customer consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices. - Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting low stock levels. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. - Uphold high standards of hospitality while creating a positive experience for every guest. Experience - Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, with familiarity in the food industry being a plus. - Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable. - Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. - Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. - Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential. - A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.
