Commercial Kitchen Cleaner York

Encore Catering is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Cleaner to join our team. Specific Responsibilities: · Report to Kitchen Manager · Clean soiled utensils, pots and pans as needed · Empty garbage · Clean, sweep and mop the Kitchen · Maintain cleanliness of washrooms, staff room, and offices · Ensure Kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized · Ensure an adequate supply of cleaning products ex: paper towels, soap, sanitizing material and garbage bags are fully stocked and replenished as needed · Report any broken equipment to management · Comply with all Encore Health and Safety policies Qualifications: · Prior experience in a similar setting or operation will be considered an asset. · Ability to follow instructions · Ability to work independently and manage time effectively · Organizational skills · Ability to work in a team oriented setting · Ability push or pull heavy loads, carts etc. · Ability to carry up to 50 pounds · Ability operate heavy equipment, dishwasher machine, pot washer machine, power wash · Ability to perform hand washing duties Pay: $18.00 per hour Benefits: Discounted or free food In office parking Store discount Adaptable language requirement: French not required Shift availability: Night Shift (preferred) Day Shift (preferred) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2plwst
