Overview We are seeking energetic and dedicated High Volume Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred, but we value enthusiasm and a strong work ethic above all. Duties Provide prompt, friendly, and qualified service to guests in a high-volume setting Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining quality standards Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards are maintained at all times Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations Upsell menu items to maximize guest satisfaction and sales opportunities Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables simultaneously without compromising service quality Maintain cleanliness of service areas and ensure adherence to sanitation protocols Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless guest experiences and uphold restaurant standards Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred; restaurant experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume service periods efficiently Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math for order entry, billing, and cash handling Experience in food preparation, serving, cashiering, or kitchen operations is beneficial Good communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role Ability to work quickly and accurately in a quick-paced workplace while maintaining professionalism Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal Contract length: 4 months Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour Benefits: Discounted or free food In office parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pmwmg
