Assistant Controller - 16 Months (King City)

Our client in the hospitality and leisure industry is currently seeking an Assistant Controller to join their team on a 16 -month contract. This role follows a hybrid working arrangement requiring three days onsite and two working remotely each week at their King City office. Responsibilities - Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements - Maintain general ledger and reconcile bank accounts - Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes - Support payroll processing and related reporting - Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis - Monitor membership billing, dues, and collections - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and club policies - Maintain internal controls and financial procedures Qualifications - CPA designation or someone in the program - Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Robust analytical and organizational skills - High attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Additional Information: The Mason Group is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and accessible recruitment process.
