Corporate Controller, Toronto

A Canadian gold company advancing toward production is seeking a Corporate Controller to support the CFO through a key phase of mine restart and operational ramp-up. This is a high-impact role combining technical accounting leadership with operational finance exposure, offering visibility across the business as the asset transitions into production.Scope of role:

Ownership of consolidated financial reporting, including IFRS financial statements, MD&A and regulatory filings Lead audit coordination and act as primary point of contact for external auditors Maintain and enhance accounting policies, internal controls and financial reporting processes Lead budget consolidation and support forecasting and performance analysis Partner with site operations to translate production metrics into financial performanceSupport cash management, liquidity planning and capital tracking Profile sought:

CPA qualified with strong IFRS and public company reporting experience Experience in mining, natural resources or heavy industry Strong technical accounting capability, including complex transactions and policy development Experience working with or alongside site operations and understanding key production driversExposure to budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes Commercial mindset with the ability to bridge finance and operations Context:
