As a
Senior Strategic Security Consultant
at Mandiant, part of Google Cloud, you will help clients effectively prepare for, proactively mitigate, and detect and respond to cyber security threats. You will bring an understanding of computer science, operating system functionality and networking, cloud services, and corporate network environments and apply this knowledge to cybersecurity challenges.Engagements may include assisting clients in navigating technically complex and high-profile incidents, performing forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage. You may also test client networks, applications, and devices by emulating the latest techniques to help them defend against threats. You will serve as the technical advocate for information security requirements, present complex concepts to business stakeholders and executive leadership, and lead complex engagements alongside cross-functional teams.Responsibilities
Develop roadmaps and recommendations to drive client enhancements of their cloud security architecture, governance, and standards. Identify, incorporate, and articulate AI security and cloud security best practices such as DevSecOps strategy, Zero Trust design, and cloud incident response. Perform security configuration reviews for common cloud-based SaaS platforms.Assist clients navigating high-profile cyber incidents including forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage. Emulate the latest attacker techniques to test client networks, applications, and devices. Present complex security concepts to business stakeholders, executive leadership, and technical contributors.Lead complex engagements alongside cross-functional teams. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions and programs across security domains. 5 years of experience delivering cyber outcomes, identifying mission risks, and devising solutions.Ability to travel up to 30%. Fluent English communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
Certifications related to specific cloud platforms. Experience implementing industry-leading practices around cyber risks and cloud security for clients' cloud security frameworks using industry standards. Experience with cloud governance and the ability to convey governance principles to cloud computing in terms of policies.Excellent time and project management skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field; 5 years of experience in cybersecurity solutions and programs; 5 years delivering cyber outcomes and identifying mission risks.
