Mobile Security Guard (Barrie)

Job Types: Seasonal, Casual, Permanent, Part-time, Full time Salary: $17.60-$20.00 per hour Schedule: 10-hour shift 12 12-hour shift 8-hour shift Day shift Holidays Monday to Friday Night shift Weekend availability Experience: Customer service: 2 years (required) Loss prevention: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: Security Guard Licence (required) CPR Certification (preferred) Work Location: In person Responsibilities: - Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment - Protect property and assets by maintaining a visible presence - Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, and restraining trespassers - Control access to the premises by permitting or denying entry - Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms, and respond to emergencies or disturbances - Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities Skills: - Loss Prevention: Knowledge of techniques to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security risks - Law Enforcement: Familiarity with laws, regulations, and procedures related to security operations - CCTV: Ability to operate and monitor closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems effectively - Surveillance: Proficiency in observing people, objects, or processes to gather information for security purposes Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
