AP Accountant - 6 Month Contract, Toronto

About the Opportunity

Responsible for providing training and support with ERP to the AP team members Receiving, verifying, and processing all invoices and performing day-to-day processing of payable transactions Support the AP Manager Answer and communicate with operation departments on vendor-related matters and provide analysis as requestedResearching and resolving any discrepancies Performing customer/vendor account reconciliations Prepare, post, and manage payments Post rebate invoices Provide period close reports to ensure issues are resolved Support audit requests when required Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reportsAssist with ad hoc strategic and operational projects as required Performing credit management Building and maintaining contact with customers and vendors Prepare month‑end and monthly reports for AP DIO and DPO calculations for all legal entities Consolidated monthly purchases from vendorsSupporting the period‑end closing process Cross‑training to support other AP/AR team functions Assist with ad hoc strategic and operational projects as required Other duties as assigned About You

Post‑secondary degree/diploma, preferably in Accounting or Finance 5+ years’ experience with full‑cycle accounts payable for an organization Experience using SAP and Dynamics NAV/Navision or a similar ERP system Experience working in a global organization with multiple entities is desirableStrong experience in working in a Global multi‑entity environment Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., complex formulas, etc.) You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada Pay Range

$29-30 per hour Benefits
