Registered Social Worker, Toronto

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday (3 hours/shift)

Manager, Clinical Practice

Pay:

$45/hr

Position Summary Bayshore Northern Staffing is in search of a Registered Social Worker interested in PART TIME work to join a healthcare clinic that provides medical services for all clients of various risk levels. This includes but is not limited to: adult males, adult females, families, pregnant women, 2SLGBTQI+ individuals, minors, persons suffering from a medical condition or disability, addictions, persons with suspected or diagnosed mental illness, and victims of human trafficking.

Duties&Responsibilities

Providing personal care assessments.

Providing individual counselling and therapy.

Evaluating and monitoring individual progression.

Maintaining and updating records.

Making referrals to medical professionals, when appropriate.

Providing awareness about external resources for continuing support.

Candidate Requirements

Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years, working as a Social Worker.

Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Social Work from an institution indicating the program has been accredited by the Canadian Association Social Work Education.

Successful Candidate Requirements

A valid RELIABILITY STATUS security clearance (request form and fingerprint form will be provided by Bayshore and full reimbursement).

A Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) (must be within one-year).

Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) Certification (must be within two-years).
