Registered Social Worker for Client Support, Toronto

Support clients in need as a Registered Social Worker in a part-time capacity. Provide personal care, counseling, and connections to essential resources in a healthcare setting.

This part-time position focuses on delivering services to adults, families, and vulnerable populations, including those with mental health issues. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, offering therapy and support, monitoring progress, and maintaining detailed records. You will also make referrals to other medical professionals and educate clients about external resources.

Key Responsibilities:• Assess personal care needs of clients • Offer individual counseling and therapeutic interventions • Monitor and assess client progress regularly • Complete and update all client documentation • Refer clients to medical professionals as needed

Requirements:• Minimum three years of recent social work experience • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Social Work required • Valid Reliability Status security clearance required • Up-to-date Vulnerable Sector Check within one year • WHMIS certification needed within two years
