As a Wellness and Recreation Facilitator with Huronía Transition Homes, you will play a vital role in providing trauma-informed recreation services to women experiencing challenges. Your expertise in facilitating wellness workshops and classes will support participants’ emotional health and help build community connections. This role emphasizes anon-judgmental approach, ensuring that all programming is inclusive and accessible.

Key Responsibilities:• Design inclusive and therapeutic recreation activities • Support wellness through group engagement and workshops • Leverage motivational interviewing techniques in programming • Collaborate with community organizations for resource access • Adapt programming based on client feedbackand needs

Requirements:• Degree in Social Work, Feminist or Mental Health studies • 3-5 years in wellness or violence against women services • Strong understanding of human trafficking issues • Effective facilitation and communication skills • Ability to work flexibly across various environments
