Job Summary We are seeking experienced Shinglers and Flat Roofers to join our professional roofing team. The ideal candidates will have a robust background in roofing installation and repair, with a focus on shingling and flat roof systems. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and safety standards are maintained throughout all phases of roofing work. Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent results. Responsibilities - Install, repair, and maintain shingle and flat roof systems on various residential and commercial buildings - Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, and trowels to complete roofing tasks efficiently - Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation - Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely and effectively - Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing integrity of roofing systems - Conduct inspections of completed work to verify quality standards are met - Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times - Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule and within scope Requirements - Proven experience as a Shingler or Flat Roofer with a solid understanding of roofing techniques - Proficiency in using hand tools related to construction and carpentry tasks - Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately - Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and procedures - Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and work at heights safely - Handyman experience or background in carpentry, caulking, or general construction is highly desirable - Valid driver’s license preferred for transportation to job sites - Reliable transportation to work sites with a commitment to punctuality and professionalism Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p09sc
