Director of Security&IT Infrastructure, Toronto

We are seeking a hands-on Director to be a pivotal force in our client’s IT strategy and operations. Reporting to the VP of Technical Services, the role emphasizes collaboration and accountability while overseeing cloud environments and voice infrastructure. Successful candidates will possess strong leadership acumen along with practical experience in IT security operations and cloud management.

Key Responsibilities:• Lead the planning and execution of security strategies • Manage enterprise cloud and networking systems • Report on performance metrics like MTTR and vulnerability remediation • Mentor internal IT teams, fostering collaboration and improvement • Identify modernization opportunities across IT infrastructure

Requirements:• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within IT • Strong hands-on AWS expertise including S3 and IAM • Familiar with Terraform or CloudFormation methodologies • Understanding of networking, firewalls, and telecom systems • Experience in vulnerability management and incident response
