Verve Senior Living seeks a Cook II dedicated to creating delightful dining experiences for seniors. This role requires a minimum of two years’ experience in large volume cooking and a passion for food preparation. You will support residents by ensuring their dietary preferences are respected and meals are healthy and appetizing.

Key Responsibilities:• Prepare and plate nutritious meals and snacks • Serve meals in the dining area to residents and guests • Maintain cleanliness in food prep areas and kitchen equipment • Follow HACCP principles in food preparation • Handle food supplies and oversee dietary operations in absence of manager

Requirements:• Minimum 2 years’ cooking experience in food service • Valid safe food handler’s and alcohol serving certificates • Grade 12 education or equivalent • Ability to communicate effectively in English • Capable of working in fast-paced environments
