Asset Protection Specialist in Retail, Barrie

Enhance security with a leading grocery retailer as an Asset Protection Specialist. Prevent theft, conduct investigations, and support store operations in a professional environment.

This role requires a valid Provincial Security Guard License and experience with CCTV and surveillance tools. You will actively deter theft, safely apprehend offenders, and reduce shrink by analyzing loss trends. Collaborate closely with store leadership and law enforcement to ensure compliance with security policies and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:• Actively prevent theft and policy violations • Safely detain offenders, following proper procedures • Conduct detailed internal and external investigations • Partner with leadership to identify loss trends • Ensure compliance with company and provincial regulations

Requirements:• Valid Provincial Security Guard License required • Knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada and legislation • Experience with Microsoft Office and surveillance tools • Exceptional communication and professional presence • Experience in high-volume retail environments preferred
