Welder / Fabricator / Installer

A growing specialty trades and infrastructure contractor is seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator / Installer to support structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and mechanical infrastructure projects across Ontario. Responsibilities

Fabricate and install structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and custom metal components Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and fabrication drawings Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on a variety of steel and metal materials Fabricate railings, stairs, platforms, supports, gates, frames, and custom assembliesComplete fitting, grinding, cutting, layout, and assembly work accurately Install fabricated materials on active construction and retrofit project sites Work closely with project managers, detailers, and fabrication teams to ensure project quality and timelines are met Maintain protected work practices in shop and field environmentsAssist with site measurements, modifications, and field adjustments as required Qualifications

3+ years of welding, fabrication, and installation experience Experience with structural steel and miscellaneous metals Ability to read and interpret fabrication and structural drawings Experience working in fabrication shops and construction sites Strong knowledge of welding and metal fabrication practicesCWB certification considered a strong asset Ability to operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites across the GTA Strong communication and teamwork skills Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour Benefits
