The Cook prepares food and beverages according to Drink Juice Co. standards and ensures all in-store, online, and delivery orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. This role supports the kitchen team in maintaining quality, organization, and cleanliness. Hiring for our current location being built at 50 Brant Street. Our flagship location is at 463 Manor Road East.Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present food and beverage items according to recipes and presentation standards. Handle in-store and Uber Eats orders with accuracy and timeliness. Notify the Lead Cook/Manager of inventory levels and assist with quality checks on produce and ingredients. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning.Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures. Communicate effectively with the Lead Cook and General Manager regarding order timing, quality and inventory. Demonstrates respect for kitchen equipment and workspace. Practices mindful use of ingredients to minimize waste. Maintains a kind, respectful attitude toward all team members.Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in food prep or kitchen environment preferred. Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Demonstrates a commitment to preparing simple, nourishing food with intention, always keeping guest health and experience front of mind.Our approach is simple: purposeful ingredients, nourishing food, and genuine care for every guest. We’re looking for people who bring that same intention into the kitchen every day. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week Work Location: In person
