Lead large‑scale merchandising transformation programs for retailers, driving measurable business value across assortment, pricing, promotion, and supply‑chain integration. Shape strategic vision for next‑generation merchandising operating models enabled by digital, analytics, and AI‑driven insights.Build and sustain trusted C‑suite relationships, serving as a thought partner on growth, margin, and operational excellence agendas. Oversee multidisciplinary teams to deliver end‑to‑end engagement, from strategy through execution and change adoption. Champion innovation by leveraging data platforms, cloud, and intelligent automation to reimagine merchandising decisions and customer experiences.Drive business development by shaping go‑to‑market offerings, leading pursuits, and expanding Accenture’s footprint in the retail merchandising domain. Mentor and develop talent, fostering a high‑performance culture that embodies Accenture’s values of client‑centricity, innovation, and inclusion.Requirements
Minimum 8 years of experience in the Retail space, with a preference for work in apparel and merchandising. Minimum 5 years of experience in consulting or an equivalent internal consulting role. Proven track record of driving consulting and strategy sales with Retail clients. Bachelor’s degree.English required, as the role involves regular interaction with stakeholders across Canada, the U.S., and other countries. Additional Skills
MBA or equivalent graduate degree. Strong quantitative skills and analytical thinker with at least 2 years of prior experience driving insights using statistics or data analysis. Demonstrated experience addressing strategic components of the Retail industry. High‑level understanding of how ecosystems fit into the digital world and how digital technology is changing business.Well networked with client executives in the Canadian corporate landscape. Demonstrated ability to leverage network and experience to originate opportunities, pipeline, and consulting deals. Experience running large, complex transformative programs. Proven ability to build, manage, and foster a team‑oriented environment.Excellent written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent leadership and management skills. Ability to prioritize issues and present solutions. Compensation
Annual salary range: British Columbia/Ontario $156,700 to $328,900.
