Third Party Security Risk Consultant (Banking -SOC 2), Toronto

Position: Third party security risk consultant Type: 1 year contract + extensions Location: 2 times a week on site downtown Toronto Rate: 50-55/hr T4 OR 55-60/hr incorporated Required Skills&Experience

5+ years of experience working within TPRM within a large enterprise, preferably within a major Canadian bank

Proven ability to measure risk and clearly present findings to senior leadership

Strong SOC 2 Type 2 experience, including:

Hands‑on experience with SOC 2 Type 2 assessments

Experience participating in or supporting SOC 2 Type 2 audits

Direct experience reviewing SOC 2 Type 2 reports

Working knowledge of ISO 27001

Strong documentation experience, including control narratives and evidence support

Ability to clearly articulate security and compliance risks in both written and verbal formats
