Lead the charge in enhancing community safety as the Manager of Building Security Systems at Toronto Community Housing. Utilize your security design expertise to improve lifestyle and security for residents.
In this hands-on role, you will report to the Facilities Manager, focusing on the management of CCTV, Door Access, and Intercom systems. Your responsibilities include managing capital upgrades and preventive maintenance programs while collaborating with the Community Safety Unit to optimize security asset management and financial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:• Develop business and work plans aligned with TCHC objectives • Establish effective communication with staff and stakeholders • Forecast resources and recommend flexible management models • Lead resolutions for complex service and contract issues • Evaluate tenders on cost and performance metrics
Requirements:• Degree in Program/Project/Construction Management or related • 5+ years management experience, including mentoring • 5+ years in security design and program management • Familiarity with federal and local regulations • Strong analytical and communication skills
