Job Summary Hands‑on experience with DB2, MySQL, Elasticsearch indexing and query optimization; strong understanding of database integration with Java and Python; familiarity with Snowflake architecture; willingness to learn new technologies. Prior experience in fraud financial analytics is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize database schemas and indexing strategies for high‑performance applications.

Develop and fine‑tune queries to enhance system efficiency and scalability.

Manage and maintain Elasticsearch clusters, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Collaborate with development teams to integrate databases with Java and Python applications.

Analyze and troubleshoot database‑related issues, providing timely resolutions.

Work with Snowflake to leverage its architecture for data warehousing and analytics solutions.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience with DB2 and MySQL database technologies.

Strong knowledge of Elasticsearch indexing and query optimization.

Familiarity with Snowflake architecture.

Experience integrating databases with Java and Python technologies.

Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Nice‑to‑Have

Background in fraud financial analytics or related fields.

Experience with cloud‑based database solutions.

Certifications in database or Elasticsearch technologies.

Salary CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year
