Shape the minds of students as a Sessional Lecturer for HIS243H1-F specializing in Early Modern Europe. This role focuses on teaching key historical themes every Thursday in a classroom setting.

You will prepare engaging lectures and develop comprehensive syllabi for the course. As this Sessional Lecturer, you'll present in-person lectures weekly, guide students during office hours, and supervise teaching assistants. Your expertise in Early Modern history will foster a deeper understanding of pivotal events from the 15th to the 17th centuries.

Key Responsibilities:• Develop and deliver engaging two-hour lectures each week • Create and manage course syllabi and materials • Mark assignments and provide feedback promptly • Supervise teaching assistants under CUPE 3902 guidelines • Conduct scheduled office hours to support students

Requirements:• Master of Arts in History or related field • Mastery of Early Modern European history • PhD in History preferred but not required • Experience in undergraduate teaching preferred • Previous instruction in similar subjects highly desired
