Junior Accountant (Toronto)

Process vendor invoices end‑to‑end, ensuring accurate coding, documentation, and adherence to internal controls Prepare and process payments (EFTs/wires) in line with company policies Assist with vendor inquiries and collaborate with internal teams on invoice‑related matters Assist with journal entries (accruals, prepaids, adjustments) to support accurate period‑end closeContribute to audit support and preparation of reconciliations and schedules Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Follow internal policies and contribute to maintaining strong financial controls Support process improvements and help identify opportunities for efficiencyAssist with various finance projects and cross‑functional initiatives What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience (co‑op or internship experience counts) Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Proficiency in Excel and comfort learning new systems Strong communication skills and ability to work collaborativelyExperience with NetSuite, SAP Concur, or similar tools is an asset Who You Are
