We are looking for an Assistant Teacher to join our multi-site Childcare Operator. You will work with children of all ages, implementing Early Childhood Programs while ensuring compliance with governing agency requirements. Organizational skills and flexibility will be key in this active role. Your communication with children, staff, and parents will help create a positive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:• Implement Early Childhood Programs as per agency requirements • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff • Maintain room control using positive behavior strategies • Plan and execute daily educational activities • Work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision

Requirements:• Current certification in First Aid and CPR – AED Level C • Clear current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) • Fulfill Toronto Public Health Medical requirements • General knowledge of childcare operations • Flexibility in working hours based on center needs
