Senior IT Business Analyst– AI Engineering Team
We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst to work on our AI Engineering Team. The role involves collaboration with business stakeholders, data science teams, and operation teams to define product vision, gather requirements, and scope projects. Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data science teams, and operation teams for defining product vision, requirement gathering, and project scoping. Partner with a wide variety of teams to define roadmaps and integrated plans. Work with architects to understand technical aspects and provide answers for security gating.Collaborate with AI engineering, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and DevOps for Jira ticket elaboration. Collaborate across teams to diagnose and resolve issues. Act as a liaison between data science, AI engineering, and business groups. Collaborate across teams during testing phases. Own and manage documentation such as Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Technical Specification documents, Functional&Non-Functional requirements, global test strategy, project and release planning documents. Build case studies and project understanding documents. Participate and lead in all agile ceremonies, manage product backlog, and help Scrum Masters prioritize work. Proactively track progress, provide updates, highlight risks, and share mitigation plans.Communicate with stakeholders across key project milestones, gather and share end‑user feedback. Qualifications
At least 6 years of experience in IT as a senior business analyst. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Senior BA or Product Owner in AI product development or mature agile environments. Excellent knowledge of agile methodology. Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or any IT related education field (master’s degree is an asset).Solid experience in AI product development projects and strong knowledge in AI, Data Science, and LLM applications. Comfortable with Jira, Teams, and Confluence tools. Preferred certifications: CSPO, CBAP, CPOA. Strong technical orientation with good problem‑solving skills. Excellent coordination, planning, and prioritization skills.Diplomacy, ability to influence, and ability to develop and maintain relationships. Positive attitude, creativity, analytical skills and curiosity. Proficiency in English required; fluency in French is a plus. Must be eligible to work in Canada. Benefits&Compensation
Salary range (based on a 35‑hour workweek):
94,200– 115,200 CAD . Annual bonus target: up to 12% of base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target. Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) – Intact matches 50% of net shares purchased. Pension plan offering guaranteed income for life via a defined benefit pension plan. Flexible work arrangements and a hybrid work model.
