Salary:
$55.72/hr, based on the current Local 853 agreement

Job Description Reporting to the Inspections Division Manager, the role involves inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of clients’ mechanical Fire Protection systems.
Responsibilities
Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
Identify deficiencies and document inspection results accurately.
Complete and submit inspection reports within required timelines.
Carry out or coordinate follow‑up repairs or corrective actions as necessary.
Respond to client questions, explain the work performed, and provide maintenance recommendations.
Work safely and efficiently by following health and safety procedures and properly maintaining tools and testing equipment.
Success Factors
Sprinkler Fitter and Fire Protection Journeyperson.
3 years of relevant experience in the fire protection field.
Experience in sprinkler inspections (an asset).
Ability to work well independently.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong customer service skills.
