As part of a senior DBA and SRE team, you’ll engineer systems supporting critical services while ensuring performance and security. Your role will involve scaling PostgreSQL systems, building vector capabilities, and driving production patterns that enhance efficiency. This position will also allow you to shape operational workflows andincrease automation.

Key Responsibilities:• Scale and tune PostgreSQL clusters for global expansion • Build and operate vector data capabilities • Define production patterns for embeddings and indexes • Strengthen disaster recovery and backup approaches • Enhance database security and access control practices

Requirements:• 5+ years of PostgreSQL experience in production • Solid grasp of MVCC, replication, and autovacuum • Experience with traffic management in PostgreSQL • Knowledge of CI/CD and GitOps • Familiarity with containers and orchestration tools
