Job Summary
We are recruiting procurement, contracts, and supply chain professionals for our energy and natural resources segment. The successful candidate will lead transformational and strategic procurement initiatives across major capital projects, delivering tangible value to senior client stakeholders. Responsibilities
Implementation of transformational initiatives:
Category management Program contract development Supply chain rationalization Supplier relationship management Supplier performance management Procurement centers of excellence Innovation and industrial strategy Collaboration business relationship strategies Compliance management
Implementation of strategic initiatives:
Market intelligence analysis Delivery models, procurement and contract strategies Supply chain integration strategy Business case and commercial strategies Contract performance strategy
Delivery of major programs and projects:
Market engagement Development of procurement and contract documentation RFP and proposal management and evaluation Commercial contract drafting Contract and commercial alignment Contract performance management Commercial peer reviews
Duties include direct influence on the Turner&Townsend strategy, continuous improvement of procurement techniques, and the development of technology-driven solutions. Additional duties:
Contribute to the capability catalogue focused on technology. Provide team management support. Assist business development and acquisition activities. Help create a better workplace through People initiatives. Take ownership of specific corporate programs. Engage in external thought leadership and establish industry presence.Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
Qualifications
10‑15 years of demonstrable experience in procurement, contracts or supply chain management in large capital projects, preferably within the energy and natural resources sectors. Direct engagement with senior client stakeholders and ability to deliver presentations and reports to all levels, including C‑Suite.Experience delivering contractual frameworks and templates that enable project delivery and realize economies of scale. Extensive knowledge of procurement, contract and supply chain techniques and regional differences. Applied knowledge in business change management for large capital works projects.Experience in construction and professional services contracts, supply chain agreements, RFQ/RFP development, proposal evaluation, and recommendation to clients. Confident, independent, and capable of working autonomously without supervision. Demonstrable people and team management experience desired.Desired Qualifications and Accreditations
University degree, preferably in Engineering, Law, Construction Management or Supply Chain Management. Professional accreditations such as CIPS, ASCM, PMP, CMAA or equivalent strongly preferred. Benefits
