Canadian Feed Screws is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented VDF Gun Drill Machine Operator to operate a Boehringer Göppingen VDF Gun Drill Machine for precision deep-hole drilling of industrial components. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality machined parts while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Training will be provided to the right candidate. Previous machining experienceis an asset.Duties

Operate and monitor Boehringer Göppingen VDF gun drill machines for precision deep-hole drilling operations. Set up machines, tooling, fixtures, and materials for production runs. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. Measure and inspect machined parts using precision measuring instrumentsincluding micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and dial indicators.Ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances, straightness, and surface finish requirements. Adjust machine settings, feeds, speeds, and coolant flow as required. Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work setting. Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet deadlines.Qualifications

Experience operating gun drilling or deep-hole drilling machines is an asset. Experience with Boehringer Goppingen VDF machines preferred. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Pay

From $17.60 per hour. Work Schedule

Day shift: Monday to Thursday 7:30am– 5:00pm, Friday 7:30am – 12:00pm. Location
