WSP’s Underground Structures and Geotechnical Excellence team seeks a Senior Tunnelling Engineer to lead impactful geotechnical designs across Canada. Your role involves influencing technical direction, mentoring emerging engineers, and ensuring sustainable underground infrastructure. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams while applying strong technical authority and sound engineering judgment.

Key Responsibilities:• Oversee advanced geotechnical designs for tunneling and excavations • Review and approve technical deliverables like design reports and GBRs • Mentor junior and intermediate engineers to foster growth • Support geotechnical risk management and compliance strategies• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for project success

Requirements:• P.Eng. designation required; degree in Civil or Geological Engineering • 15+ years of experience in geotechnical design • Expertise in Canadian and international engineering standards • Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS • Experience with mining or large-scale projects is an asset
