Mainframe Software Developer - Toronto

Become a Mainframe Software Developer in Toronto, contributing to Ontario's court systems. This role requires proficiency in COBOL and IMS DB/DC for mission-critical applications.

With a 12-month contract and the possibility of extensions, you will leverage your 5-9 years of experience to draft technical requirements and maintain vital software solutions. Key Responsibilities:• Write, maintain, and test COBOL programs on mainframe • Create and document data migration strategies • Support users with ICON application issues • Participate in the system development life cycle (SDLC) • Complete all work by designated milestones

Requirements:• Minimum of 5 years in COBOL programming with IMS DB/DC • Strong experience in data migration and testing • Excellent documentation skills for enhancements • Familiarity with system integration processes • Active participation in user acceptance testing
