Senior Software Developer (Salesforce)

We’re looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Salesforce team, reporting to the Director of Software Development. In this role, you’ll help shape how we build scalable tools and processes that drive business decisions and enhance how teams work across Nasdaq Verafin. Design, develop, and deliver end‑to‑end Salesforce features — including analysis, UI components, customization, testing, release, and ongoing support. Implement Salesforce Lightning components and manage SFDC data to ensure a high‑quality user experience, system performance, and data integrity.Lead Salesforce DevOps practices, build automation frameworks, and create test strategies to improve deployment efficiency and code quality. Troubleshoot application issues, monitor system performance, and drive continuous improvements through innovation and process optimization. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, maintain clear documentation, and actively participate in Scrum ceremonies with a positive, solutions‑focused approach.Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience, with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. 3+ years of Salesforce development experience with deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Proven ability to design and implement complex Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, integrations, and performance optimizations.Strong knowledge of integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events), OOP principles, design patterns, and modern web technologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, effectively partnering with cross‑functional teams. Advanced Salesforce expertise demonstrated through Platform Developer II (or similar) certification, familiarity across key Clouds such as Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud.Experience working in regulated or SaaS environments with exposure to broader development and architecture best practices. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum) and ability to collaborate effectively in iterative development cycles. Work Environment

This position is located in Toronto and offers a hybrid work model, with at least three days per week in the office. The role is full‑time and provides flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates. Benefits
