Registered Nurse for Kidney Transplant Program, Toronto

As a Registered Nurse in the Renal Transplant Program, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare partners throughout the transplant process. You are expected to assess donor and recipient suitability, coordinate care, and promote wellness while delivering evidence-based nursing interventions. Collaboration with inter-professional teams is essential for optimizing patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:• Assess potential kidney transplant recipients and donors • Support patients through the transplant process • Engage stakeholders in patient information sessions • Coordinate and communicate patient care activities • Establish therapeutic relationships with patients

Requirements:• Current General Class Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario • BLS Certification and CNA Certification in Nephrology Nursing preferred • Recent Ambulatory Transplant Clinic experience required • Minimum 3 years in acute settings preferable • Strong planning and organizational skills
