GTAA Aviation Programs Regulatory Specialist, Toronto

Elevate regulatory compliance in aviation with the Greater Toronto Airports Authority as a Regulatory Specialist. This full-time, hybrid role focuses on Toronto Pearson’s operational excellence and regulatory management.

Reporting to the Manager, this position is responsible for the support and maintenance of the airport's Operating Certificate. You'll create and review critical regulatory documents, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with national aviation standards. This pivotal role directly impacts the safety and efficiency of airport operations at Toronto Pearson.

Key Responsibilities:• Develop submission packages for regulations to Transport Canada • Conduct inspections and ensure airfield compliance • Compile and present regulatory change summaries • Assist in updating the Airport Operations Manual • Engage in cooperative airport engineering reviews

Requirements:• Degree or diploma in Airport Management or Aviation • Minimum of three years in aviation regulation environments • Five years in airport operations or similar fields • Technical writing experience essential • Must obtain the D/AVOP permit within 30 days
