Description:
Sessional Lecturer - LAN3052HS - Professional Practice
Course description: Examines modes of practice and potentials, and the licensure and responsibilities of a landscape architect.
Sessional dates of appointment:
January 1, 2027 to April 30, 2027
Salary (per half-course, inclusive of vacation):
Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.
Minimum Qualifications:
Professional degree in Landscape Architecture and minimum 10 years of professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience mentoring landscape architects toward licensure is preferred. Some experience teaching landscape architecture courses at the graduate level is preferred.
Description of duties:
Preparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials, supervision of teaching assistants; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations and deferred final examinations; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions and student contact hours.
