Full Time Responsibilities

Create 3D structural models using Revit and AutoCAD. Prepare 2D packages from the design models. Develop general arrangement and detailed drawings for concrete and steel structures. Collaborate with other disciplines and the project engineering team for structural design requirements. Create drawings, including sheet and view creation, with minimal supervision.Develop technical drawings from sketches, determining appropriate scales, arrangement, and specific details. Respect and enforce policies and procedures in the preparation of drawings. Realize project stages within timeframes and budget constraints. Run clash detection exercises and execute necessary corrections.Perform other related duties that may contribute to the project. Mentor junior designers through project assignments. Qualifications

10–15 years of experience in structural design, specifically creating 3D structural models of concrete and steel structures in the built environment sector. Associates degree or higher in automated drawing, civil/structural engineering technology, or related field, or currently working toward a degree.Experience working in construction is an asset. Strong communication skills (oral and written) in English. Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD 3D, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, Dynamo, Safe, and MS Office is essential. Knowledge of ProjectWise, Rhino, Rhino Inside Revit, Grasshopper, CSIxRevit is an added benefit.Ability to meet cost objectives, quality standards, and deadlines.
