Fund Accountant for Private Assets, Toronto

Join Citco's Private Assets team as a Fund Accountant to manage accounting processes for complex fund structures. You'll focus on capital events, compliance, and reporting to enhance client experiences.

This role emphasizes support for fund administration with a dedication to accuracy and efficiency. You will prepare capital calls and distributions, execute financial control tasks, and monitor compliance with service level agreements. A background in fund accounting will be essential as you work across various client deliverables and facilitate audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:• Prepare capital events for Private Assets Funds • Execute Waterfall calculations accurately • Monitor compliance with client service agreements • Complete cash, portfolio, and capital reconciliations • Assist with fund launches and onboarding

Requirements:• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics • 2-3 years of fund accounting experience required • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel • Experience with FIS Investran PE accounting is highly desirable • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
