BMO Application Security Automation Specialist, Toronto

Join BMO as an Application Security Automation Specialist, focusing on enhancing security testing capabilities through a hybrid work model. Your role will focus on leading SAST initiatives that secure application development.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of automated security testing, you will manage all aspects of SAST from onboarding to reporting. You'll work closely with application teams, integrating security controls within the software development lifecycle, while assessing and addressing emerging security threats.

Key Responsibilities:• Oversee end-to-end SAST operations and reporting • Tune security scan tools to minimize false positives • Support testing programs and CI/CD integration • Evaluate AI-enhanced scanning capabilities • Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements

Requirements:• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field • 5-7 years in SAST and Automation Engineering • Experience with SAST and DAST tools • Proficiency in programming languages (C#, Java, Python) • 5+ years of scripting for automation and integration
