You possess emotional maturity and stability, understanding that difficult situations involving sick and hurt pets and stressed clients will occasionally arise.You have great attention to detail, manage your time well, set priorities, and get the work done each day. You stay calm, organized, and focused in a fast‑paced environment and work well in a team while also being self‑directed on individual tasks. You are proficient on the computer, comfortable handling phone shoppers, and answer inquiries. You are skilled at asking for help when needed and have an excellent handle of the English language. Basic medical terms will be needed in discussions with clients and staff.About the Role
This is a full‑time position with either four 9‑hour shifts or five 8‑hour shifts, plus one or two Saturdays per month (rotating evenly with other CSRs). The work includes the following responsibilities: Answering phone calls and addressing emails; checking all messages and faxes Scheduling and confirmingappointmentsReceiving orders and sorting between in‑hospital stock vs. special orders for clients Restocking food and supply shelves as needed Completing client invoices and reviewing for appropriate charges Handling financial transactions (debit, credit, cash, financing companies, insurance payments) Processing client intake forms; obtainingaccurate medical historiesFilling out vaccine certificates and International Health Certificates Explaining treatment plans and charges to clients Preparing medication for dispensing Performing general cleaning duties as needed Transferring/obtaining medical records to/from other hospitals Other duties as assigned to assist with hospital operationsBenefits

Pay: $18.00– $21.00 per hour (compensation varies based on experience). Work location: in person. Preference will be given to those with previous veterinary experience and/or those who have worked in a notably quick‑paced environment.
