About the role The junior accountant intern/coop will have opportunities to expose to full accounting cycle and assist the senior financial analyst on recording business transactions and analyzing business performance.
Responsibilities
Assist in checking and reviewing employee reimbursement reports in Concur.
Check and review vendor set up form and verify HST on CRA website. Set up Vendor in accounting system.
Check invoice information and save it in the corresponding folder.
Assist in validating Concur invoice submission to ensure HST information and receipts are valid.
Collect credit card transaction invoices save in corresponding folder.
Contribute to ad-hoc projects as required (including but not limit to: Assist in Book entries for USD tracker; Book entries for short-term investment; Monthly roll over short-term investment; Update exchange rate every month)
What You Need To Succeed: Skills&Qualifications
Currently enrolled student in a post-secondary program, majoring in Accounting or Finance related field
Available to begin the role in September 2026, with an expected commitment of approximately 8 months.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Adaptable and able to work efficiently in a rapidly changing business landscape
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
