Qa Automation Consultant– Erp /transformation Toronto

We are seeking a QA Automation Consultant to support a large-scale ERP transformation centered on Microsoft Dynamics 365. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks across D365 and Microsoft Power Apps solutions while helping transition the organization’s testing approach from SmartBear tooling to Leapwork.Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts supporting ERP and D365 implementations Build and maintain automation frameworks for Power Apps and D365 modules Lead and support the transition of test automation tooling from SmartBear to Leapwork Develop reusable test assets, regression suites, and automation best practicesCollaborate with ERP delivery teams, business analysts, developers, and release management teams Support end-to-end testing including functional, integration, regression, and UAT support Identify test coverage gaps and recommend automation opportunities Ensure testing aligns with enterprise QA standards, governance, and release processesSupport CI/CD integration of automated testing pipelines Required Experience&Skills

8+ years of QA and test automation experience Hands‑on experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations Robust automation testing experience with Microsoft Power Apps Proven implementation experience with Leapwork automation platform Experience migrating or modernizing test automation frameworksExperience performing ERP functional and integration testing Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery environments Strong defect management and test documentation experience Nice to Have

Experience supporting large ERP transformation or modernization programs Experience integrating automation into DevOps / CI-CD pipelines Knowledge of data validation and backend integration testing Experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps or similar Soft Skills

Solid stakeholder communication and collaboration skills Ability to operate in fast‑paced transformation environments Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities Self‑directed with robust ownership mindset
