React UI Developer Location

Toronto, ON Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React, TypeScript, and up-to-date JavaScript (ES6+). Build reusable, efficient, and visually appealing UI components aligned with design specifications and best practices. Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to translate complex requirements into intuitive user interfaces.Utilize modern web tooling (Babel, SWC, Vite, pnpm, Lerna, Nx) to optimize development workflows and application performance. Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and backend services ensuring seamless data flow. Implement responsive and cross-browser compatible designs using HTML5, CSS, and modern styling techniques.Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and usability, resolving bottlenecks and improving load times. Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using frameworks like Jest, Vitest, and Playwright to ensure application reliability. Leverage Chrome Developer Tools to debug, profile, and enhance frontend performance.Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, including JWT-based authentication flows. Work with version control systems using Git and Git Flow, ensuring code quality through reviews and best practices. Contribute to and maintain high-quality code standards, documentation, and reusable component libraries; experience with ag-grid or Highcharts is preferred.Collaborate effectively in a multi-cultural, distributed team environment, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and proactive communication.
