Student IT Architecture Intern

We are seeking a motivated student intern to join our IT Architecture team.Overview

Students are placed into an area of interest and supported by a mentor throughout their co‑op term. They receive training in communication, public speaking, networking, business etiquette, and emotional intelligence. Fidelity encourages volunteer work and community engagement. How You’ll Make an Impact

Assist in creating and maintaining architecture diagrams, models, and documentation. Support analysis of business and technical requirements for new solutions. Participate in technology evaluations and proof‑of‑concept activities. Help maintain architecture repositories and ensure data accuracy.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather information for assessment. Contribute to presentations and documentation for architecture governance meetings and projects. Qualifications

Enrolled in a university program in Computer Science, Mechatronic, System Design Engineering, or a related field (2nd or 3rd year). Foundational knowledge of developing and deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong understanding of system architecture concepts such as Monolithic vs Microservices.Experience or knowledge of scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, Ruby, Perl, and Linux/Unix shell (asset). Experience working in an agile/kanban environment using JIRA/Confluence (preferred). Must be registered in a co‑op program and available for full‑time work for the duration of the term.Availability for a flexible hybrid schedule. Compensation
