Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This role involves operating various types of heavy machinery to support construction, logistics, and material handling projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation, with additional skills in forklift operation, freight handling, and automotive repair being a plus. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and perform site preparation, material movement, and construction tasks Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance Assist with freight logistics by organizing and transporting materials across job sites Support automotive repair tasks when necessary to maintain equipment functionality Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work workplace Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule Requirements Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including familiarity with various machinery types Experience in freight handling and commercial driving is advantageous Basic automotive repair knowledge is a plus for maintaining equipment Ability to operate machinery safely and adhere to safety standards at all times Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy loads when necessary Prior experience working in construction or industrial environments is preferred Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour Work Location: On the road Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ok2br
