* This is a temporary role * The Kitchen Manager role is to provide strategic leadership and hands-on assistance to employees who prepare great tasting and great looking food for our guests. Critical responsibilities include being a role model of company policies and philosophies, teaching and coaching employees, and managing controls that contribute to restaurant profitability. Demonstration of a passion for food and attending to the details of food quality, safety and standards is critical. Key components of leadership include: - Maximize business results through planning and monitoring kitchen inventory, ordering and operations. Contribute to building restaurant guest counts, increasing earnings and improvement to food quality. - Demonstrate company values and principles in dealings with guests, managers, employees and in the community. - Strengthen employee performance by providing direction that is explicit, ongoing coaching and holding employees accountable for performance.
